New & Old
A simple visual to represent this mash-up of new & old…I love this old door floating on new glass.

Internal & External
In New York, people even judge your bones! Although harsh, this poster got me thinking about skeletons. What if we could see the skeletons that support the world around us? What would they say?

Marginal & Mainstream
Shout out to the festival of lights!  It was really cool to see Hanukkah celebrated in the streets with lots of menorahs and mitvah mobiles. Its no rockerfeller-plaza-size dreidel, but its certainly gives some insight to the pluralism of this place.

Dream & Reality
“New york, new york. Big city of dreams, but everything in new york ain’t always what it seems.”
This fall, walking home at night, every street in New York looked like a film set to me. The street lights behind the yellow leaves make the nighttime even more dreamy here.

Life & Death
Apparently, New Yorkers judge the quality of a neighborhood according to three factors: 1) the number trees, 2) the number of murders…. and 3) the time it takes to get to a subway. Home Sweet Home!
